On May 6, 2025, the Eureka network opened its 2025 Call for Projects on Applied Quantum Technologies, with Belgium’s Flanders and Wallonia regions again participating as funding partners. The call accepts applications through September 5, 2025.
National funding bodies from Austria, Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), Denmark, Finland, France, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, and Ukraine allocated funding for international collaborative R&D projects in the field of applied quantum technologies. Project consortia must include organizations based in at least two of the participating countries or regions.
Flemish applicants may apply through VLAIO, with subsidy rates ranging from 25% to 70% of eligible costs and project budgets between €25,000 and €3 million. Walloon applicants submit through SPW Research. The call represents the second consecutive year in which Belgium’s two main regional funding agencies have jointly participated in Eureka’s quantum technology program.
