Commitment
The Quantum Policy Forum is committed to making its websites and digital services accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Current status
QPF’s websites are built on a custom WordPress theme developed with accessibility in mind. We have designed the sites to work with screen readers and assistive technologies, to maintain sufficient colour contrast, to support keyboard navigation, and to provide meaningful alternative text for images.
We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process. We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 AA, and we expect that an audit would identify areas for improvement. We are committed to addressing any issues identified.
Known limitations
Some older PDF publications may not be fully accessible. We are working to ensure that all new publications meet accessibility standards. Where a publication is not available in an accessible format, we will provide an alternative on request.
Third-party content embedded in our sites (such as video players or external forms) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We select third-party tools with accessibility in mind but cannot guarantee full conformance for services we do not control.
Events
QPF aims to hold events at venues that are physically accessible. Participants with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests for materials in accessible formats, sign language interpretation, or other support.
Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our websites and events. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please contact [email protected]. We aim to respond to accessibility inquiries within five working days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec) or the relevant national enforcement body in your jurisdiction.
