France, Germany, and the Netherlands announced a trilateral quantum technology collaboration on May 6, 2025, with a joint call for research and development projects Trilateral quantum collaboration announcement. The initiative aims to strengthen Europe’s position in quantum computing, sensing, and communications through coordinated funding and shared research infrastructure.

Participating institutions will coordinate evaluation of proposals and facilitate cross-border researcher mobility and technology transfer. The trilateral framework operates alongside the EuroQCI and EuroHPC programs.
