On June 11, 2024, the International Council of Quantum Industry Associations (ICQIA) held an in-person meeting and participated in a panel discussion during the inaugural Q-Expo in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The event was hosted by the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC) and co-organized with Quantum Delta NL.

According to Quantum Industry Canada, leaders of the four ICQIA partner associations — QuIC, QIC, Q-STAR, and QED-C — convened to discuss topics of common interest. The work meeting advanced collaborative projects, including the development of global value chain landscapes in quantum computing and quantum-secure communication.

ICQIA also participated in a panel session moderated by Laure La Bars, President of QuIC, during the Q-Expo Plenary Day. Discussions covered the definition of international standards for quantum technologies, the international ecosystem of companies, and global trade. At the time of the meeting, ICQIA represented what it described as a diverse global community of stakeholders across the four member associations.
