In early April 2026, Israeli neutral-atom quantum computing startup Q-Factor emerged from stealth with a USD 24 million seed funding round. The round was led by NFX and TPY Capital, with participation from Intel Capital, Korea Investment Partners, Deep33, and the Matias family, along with a grant from the Israel Innovation Authority, as reported by Globes.
Q-Factor was founded by four physicists from the Weizmann Institute and the Technion, both of which are shareholders in the company. The startup is developing a neutral-atom quantum computing architecture for scaling beyond current system limitations. The Innovation Authority’s grant reflected continued government support for quantum hardware development in Israel.
