Rosatom announced the launch of Russia’s first business accelerator for quantum technology projects in March 2025. According to Nuclear Asia, the accelerator was designed to search for and select promising business initiatives for practical application of quantum innovations across sectors of the Russian economy. Applications were accepted through April 15, 2025.
Startups and teams from scientific institutions and universities developing projects in quantum computing and other quantum technologies were invited to participate. Based on the selection results, 10 projects were to be accelerated, with venture financing planned for their further development. The accelerator was held as part of the implementation of the quantum computing roadmap coordinated by Rosatom.
