On October 3, 2024, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) published the membership and mandate of the Quantum Advisory Council established to advise on the National Quantum Strategy and monitor its progress.
ISED said the council draws members from industry, academia, the not-for-profit sector, and investment, and that co-chairs and members serve two-year volunteer terms with the possibility of renewal. Raymond Laflamme and Stephanie Simmons are listed as co-chairs in the Quantum Advisory Council page.
