On February 14, 2024, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) announced funding for 11 Canadian firms to work with UK partners on quantum projects selected through a joint Canada-UK research and development call for proposals.
NRC said the selected collaborations focused on commercial quantum technologies in networking, sensing, scalable solutions for quantum computing, and supply-chain development. The awards were recorded in the NRC announcement on Canada-UK quantum collaborations.
