Patero Inc., a Maryland-based post-quantum cryptography company, and Calibr8 Systems, a Filipino-owned systems integrator, announced a strategic alliance on October 9, 2025, to facilitate the migration of industrial data infrastructures to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) in Australia and the Philippines. According to the announcement via Business Wire, the two companies will deliver cryptographic discovery and inventory services, as well as migration pathways to NIST-compliant PQC.

Calibr8 Systems, with a presence in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, specializes in IT/OT convergence and industrial data infrastructure. The collaboration will initially focus on financial services, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure operators in both regions.

The announcement noted that Philippine financial institutions and government agencies are already beginning to assess their exposure to “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks, and that the National Cybersecurity Plan emphasizes the importance of quantum-safe approaches to securing sensitive data.
